Open the menu for any saved item or note and select Keep offline.

The Mac app is about 20 MB and uses your existing Keep account. One download works on Apple silicon and Intel Macs.

    Open the DMG and drag Keep into the Applications folder.

    Use Apple, Google, GitHub, or email. Your existing library will be waiting.

Questions before you install.

No. The Mac app uses the same Keep account and plan as the web app. There is no separate desktop purchase.

You choose the notes and saved items that matter. Select Keep offline from an item menu and Keep stores the full reading copy on that Mac.

Keep checks for signed updates inside the app. It verifies each update before installation and asks you to restart when the new version is ready.

Yes. One universal download works on both Apple silicon and Intel Macs.

Keep for iPhone is going through App Store review. The Windows app will follow later. Both use the same Keep account and library.
