Keep for Mac uses the same account and library as the web app. The Windows app is coming soon.
Install Keep on a Mac
- Open the Keep desktop download page.
- Select Download for Mac.
- Open the DMG and move Keep to your Applications folder.
- Open Keep and sign in with your existing account.
Keep checks for signed updates after it starts. It downloads a valid update and asks you to restart the app when the update is ready.
Download something before you go offline
Open a note or saved item and select Keep offline. Wait until the button says Available offline before you disconnect.
The downloaded reading copy stays on that Mac. Images and files that use remote URLs can still need a connection. Sign-in and edits also need a connection.
