Saved holds captured source material. Links, documents, screenshots, transcripts, newsletters, and synced posts appear here as Items.
Notes hold your own decisions and working knowledge. Saved holds the source material that supports them.
Open saved items
Open Saved to see the newest Items first. Keep groups recent Items by date. A busy source may appear as one expandable row when grouping is enabled for that source.
Select an Item to open its reading view. The reader shows the saved metadata, summary, Markdown, media, highlights, and connected Notes that are available. The reading view guide covers those controls.
Search and filter Saved
Use the search box to match saved Items by text. You can add filter tokens to the same query.
| filter | example |
|---|---|
| Tag | tag:research or #research |
| Collection | in:"client work" |
| Source | source:github |
Keep suggests matching tags, collections, and sources while you type. Press
/ when Saved is open to focus the search box.
The search guide covers global search across both Notes and Items.
Organise one Item
Open the Item menu from a Saved row or the reading view. The available actions include:
- open the original page
- copy the original link
- copy or download the saved Markdown
- add or remove tags and collections
- create a connected Note
- edit the title and personal notes
- run automatic tagging
- subscribe to a detected source
- send the Item to Kindle
- archive or delete the Item
Use Retry capture when extraction failed. Use Extract content when Keep only has the link and metadata.
Archive or delete several Items
- Open Saved.
- Select the checklist button near the page title.
- Select each Item you want to change.
- Choose Select all matching items if the whole filtered result should be included.
- Select Archive or Delete.
- Confirm a permanent deletion.
Items that are still processing cannot be selected.
Archive removes an Item from Saved. Delete permanently removes the Item and its saved content.
Change what each row shows
Open Saved item display settings to show or hide favicons, tags, personal notes, and collections. These settings change the Saved layout. They do not remove data from an Item.
Source rollups are managed separately in source settings.
