Acceptance
By using Keep you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
What Keep provides
Keep is a context library for people and AI agents. You can create and revise Notes, capture source material as Items, organise both in Projects, search your library, and connect approved agents, apps, and source services. Keep is available through the web app, browser extension, MCP server, CLI, API, and other supported clients.
Accounts and credentials
Give Keep accurate account information and keep your password, API credentials, and connected-client approvals secure. You are responsible for activity performed through your account and the agents or services you authorise. Revoke access when a client should no longer use your library.
Your Notes and Items
You keep your rights to the Notes, annotations, and other original material you create. You give Keep permission to store, process, index, copy, and transmit that material only as needed to provide the service and the features you request.
Captured articles, videos, posts, files, emails, and other source material can belong to someone else. You are responsible for having the right to capture and use it. Keep does not give you ownership of third-party material.
Agents and connected services
You decide which agents, API clients, and source services can connect to your account. Their actions can change your library within the permissions you approve. External services have their own terms and privacy policies, and their availability or access rules can change.
Acceptable use
Do not use Keep to break the law, infringe another person's rights, distribute malware or spam, bypass service limits, gain unauthorised access, or disrupt Keep or its providers. Keep can remove content or suspend accounts when needed to enforce these terms, protect the service, or meet a legal obligation.
Paid plans
Stripe processes paid subscriptions. The price, billing period, and included features shown when you subscribe form part of these terms. Subscriptions renew until you cancel them. You can cancel from account settings. Refunds are provided when required by law and can otherwise be considered case by case.
Availability and changes
Keep is provided "as is" and without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability. Features, limits, and external integrations can change. Keep will avoid material disruption where practical, but does not promise that every source or client will remain available.
Closing or suspending an account
You can permanently delete your account from account settings after cancelling any active paid subscription. Keep can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, creates a security risk, or must be restricted by law. Account deletion removes access to your Notes, Items, Projects, and connected clients.
Changes to these terms
Keep can update these terms as the product changes. The date at the top of this page shows the latest revision. Continuing to use Keep after an update means that you accept the revised terms.
