Review current work on the Dashboard
The Dashboard shows active work from your Notes and Items. Open Keep or select Dashboard in the app navigation.
Review Note tasks
The In progress section finds open task markers in your Notes. Select a task to open its Note.
Keep recognises these Markdown task states:
| Markdown | State |
|---|---|
- [ ] | Open |
- [/] or - [~] | In progress |
- [x] | Complete |
- [-] | Cancelled |
The Dashboard shows open and in-progress tasks. The Note remains the source of truth. Edit the checkbox in the Note to change the task state.
Review Items that need context
The Needs context section shows captured Items that have no useful organisation or explanation yet.
Open an Item. Add a saved reason, tag, collection, connected Note, or processed state. The Item leaves this section when it has context.
See Feed for the complete Needs context view and bulk actions.
Review recent work
The recent work section shows recently changed Notes. Each entry can show its Project and the person, agent, or automation that made the latest change.
Select an entry to open the Note and review its current content and revision history.
Empty sections
The Dashboard hides a section when it has no results. If no task, Item, or recent Note needs attention, the page can contain fewer sections.
